I visited The Storey again today with John Angus from the Storey Gallery and had a tour with Martin the site manager.
It was exciting to see all the activity, especially the auditorium which is really starting to take shape, as you can see from these shaky phone photos…



I was walking back across town from a meeting at Palatine Hall when I happened upon Suzanne Dimmock and Tod Hanson in the marketplace. Suzanne is the City’s Public Art Officer and Tod is the artist selected to develop ideas for a temporary work at the Storey. They were discussing his ideas with passers-by with a very positive reaction to a bold and energetic piece. If you haven’t had a chance to look at the plans it’s certainly worth checking it out – you can contact Suzanne via the City Council switchboard.
