No one else at home, Flax 004

No one else at home cover

Lancaster based Polish writer Joanna Skalska worked with Ian Seed on a translation of her story No One Else At Home

A creepy story of deceptive simplicity that pulls us through the unsettled wonderings of a woman when she is surprised by the arrival of a policeman at her door, late one night. Can there really be someone living in her house, whom she has never met?

This bi-lingual pamphlet tells of intrusion and anxiety, but in such a quiet voice, the silence of it adds to the suspense and unnerving atmosphere of the story.
