The Storey's Story

The Storey's Story is a litfest book celebrating the life of one of Lancaster's best-loved buildings.

The Storey's Story

"The Storey's Story: Memories, Stories, Poems, Images" (edited by Rodge Glass, with contributions from Rodge Glass, Gael Turnbull and Jacob Polley). Published: 2004, Design: Anat Caspi Kaivanto.

The Storey has been one of Lancaster's most enduring landmarks since its opening in the 1890's. The building has always held a place at the forefront of the advancement of arts, technology and science, and over the years thousands of people have passed through its doors, as students, workers or visitors.

These affectionate reminiscences from the people of Lancaster offer up some of the wonderful stories contained within its walls.
